15-20 minutes north of Sengigi on the island of Lombok. There are many little coves and points. There is space for one car on the top of the hill where there is an opening in the road barrier. There is a short path that leads to the point but then it stops. From there you have to walk down a steep mountain with no trail. We made our own trail. We never surfed this spot because by the time we got back the tide was to low and we didn't feel like getting reefed to death. We had a hard time watching it and not paddling out 'cause it looked so good.
Atmosphere
I don't know if this spot is ever surfed but it looks like it could get real good. I wanted to surf it so bad but we were leaving the next day. There is no one around so you don't have to worry about crowds.

definitely lombok - i know exactly where it is, indeed north of Sengiggi, and then it is one of the first turns from where you can see the three gili's, i went swimming there on a small day, but i bet the pics are taken on a day with serious swell for this spot to go off like that, anyway, from what i've seen whilst swimming the reef looks kind of jagged and it was shallow too, so i guess watch out for the low tide, and i would also think that it rarely brakes like this, but beautiful pristine beach, and at the other side of the beach someone built an indonesian pagoda to sit and chill, or for shelter when it rains.

lombok for sure - surfed here many times, gets surfed by locals sometimes. take off starts deep then becomes ledgy shallow and close to the rocks. These photos taken on a very big day, ussually barely breaks, good place to go to when the wind kicks up.
