British Virgin Islands

Central America

Remote. Tranquil. Pristine. Beautiful. The beaches of the British Virgin Islands come in all shapes and sizes, and each one is unique. They are not only beautiful, but are almost always uncrowded and very often deserted. Palm-fringed, white sandy beaches, combined with a translucent ocean that teems with marine life and coral reefs, attract boaters and landlubbers alike. Snorkel, sail, sunbathe, or shell at any one of these coves. Even avid surfers will be thrilled by the long north swells that roll lazily in during the winter months on Tortola's north shore.
The surfing can be good, but you have to pick the right time of year, as the swell is inconsistent.

Surf Tortola and the BVIs - Tortola and the BVIs are great surf spots during the winter months. Visit us at Island Surf and Sail if you want to rent a surfboard.

- Great surf in USVI and BVI if you need a boat in your search for surf Hal at is a great connection. 2/15/12 we surfed a cloudbreak reef 1/2 mile offshore between two islands by ourselves. Solo sessions in the Carribean are what it is all about.
