Mellower Spot - I was advised by locals to surf here when the north shore was too big to tackle. Went down midweek and had a really nice session on 4ft cleanish waves, not too crowded, whilst the North and west shores were being pounded by 12ft beasts. Can be tricky to find, look for Calle Poris which is the easiest access point. Also advisable to wear boots for the rocks underfoot.

Outside at Rocky Point - Fanatstic wave when its really working, surfed it overhead++ and it was great fun and very mellow, no crowds (unlike the inside). Well worth the longish paddle out. Good view of Lobos and the town between sets.

Fastest !! - U are right .. the picture is not Rocky point...
I surfed there probably one of the fastest lefts I've ever seen in my life...
Be careful with the rocks (in & out) the right is easier but can also get quite barrel style...
Try the Outside , it's great fun!! Surfing near the Ferry...

Pure Class - I surfed here. Christmas 2002. It was great! The water is so clean and the usual locals are quite friendly. Not the scaryest wave. But the coral and rocks are really sore if you hit them. Watch your self now.

surf dream - When the beautiful north shore is closing out, this is the fine goal!I've surfed there in a sublime sunset day with the island of Los Lobos and Lanzarote on my back and the lights of Corralejo on...Fantastic!

Nice Spot - Rocky Point in- and out-side are both nice spots except the inside becomes very crowdy when it starts working.

Dont exit the wave too late because of the dangerous riff.
If you ride the left be carefull of dangerous rocks underwater.

BTW.: The foto is _not_ from Rocky-Point but prob. Flag-Beach

Wrong Photo - This photo is not Rocky Point, it's flag beach about 1km away from Rocky point.
