boomdaddy - we have some sweet waves out here brahs. people are starting to find out about it. that's life. the only saving grace is that our swell is lame. don't be that chump from "ducane" who thinks he owns the break.

- Whoever posted the directions was obviously trying to get rise out of some people. Those aren't the right directions to Rudy's. It's actually called Rudy's Alltime Left. To get there, you drive up lawrencetown rd. There will be a sign saying West Lawrencetown and you go down that road. There will be a left, that's Rudy's Alltime Left. It's a great break. Enjoy.

stand up - Just stand up to them. I learned to surf out here 12 years ago, moved away for 2 years, came back and some meat head I'd never seen before called himself a local and wanted to fight me. Just like 10 year old bullies when you stand up to them they get confused and back down.

And to any so called 'local' next time one of you bitches comes to me with your shit I'm gonna put my hands in my pockets and let you knock me around. then Im going to charge your wife beating ass. You can enjoy your precious secret spot holding onto metal bars with a big dick in your ass.

That being said, lets stop announcing our spots to the world.

Dude your right dude where's my car!! - Good point about localism, and those who claim to own the ocean are idiots!

By anonymous , 23-05-2005

- NO-ONE owns the spot dude. Its not your birthright or nothing so fuck off. we are all born equal and are all equally entitled to the ocean. It's a blessing worth sharing. People have bigger problems in the world than some snot like you getting all fired up over ripples in the ocean, at least you have the PRIVILEGE of living a beachy lifestyle, so stop taking life for granted. Nothing beats getting out and discovering new spots to surf which you've never been to before. It's what surfing is all about. Commercial as Rip Curl has made it, waveriding is about the search my friend, and if you prat about at one break your whole life then i have nothing but pity for you and your ignorant ways dude. I really do. If i surf a break and respect the courtesy codes of conduct of surfing then i expect to be treated fairly. If you come and surf around my way i will give you the same chances. Grow up dude, because ignorance isnt bliss, its for fuckwits.

selfish - don't complain about people coming to surf our nova scotian breaks unless you vow to never surf at someone elses break outside Nova Scotia. Grow up and share our beautiful coastline. Its called growing up, break the surfer steriotype. There aare a lot of middle aged nova scotian surfers that haven't grown up,, and its a good time talking about how rediculous they are. They make themselves look like children. We all know who fits that shoe.

have some respect - When I get there this later this year from hawaii for a family reunion I will not tollerate any type of bullshit localism. So watch out!
