wrong pictures - the pictures they have of this spot aren't actually pictures of chuns. They are pictures of marijuanas, which is down the road????

chuns - I surfed at chuns in september, no it wasnt big, just about head hight,But i had a cracking few days there, Friendly locals who showed a tourist from the uk much Aloha,first name terms on the second time i paddled out,and no they were not townies either just locals,I have a guide book that says if you cant look good surfing at chuns its time to take up anouther sport, Ihope i looked good.

Chuns - It's a fun wave but it's like town in the country. All the townies surf here. If a townie says he surfed the country, it means he surfed Chuns. That's why it gets so fucking crowded on a small to medium day. When it starts to go bigger the line up seems to clear out... I wonder why??? Anyway, surf the surrounding spots. They're much better. ALOHA

not too crazy - Chuns is kinda a mushy-fun wave. The reef is shallow and very sharp though.

Experienced only? - Chun's can get big but I never felt it was too tough a wave compared to a many of the much faster and hollow spots around Oahu. Anyone else agree??

chuns reef - i surfed chuns in april 2003
it was good head high , some bigger sets came in.
