Take ocean parkway to cedar beach, unless your a resident it's gonna be pretty pricey to get in. Walk through the long beach to the shorefront then take it about halfway to the 4x4 zone (gilgo). There will be a bird nesting area next to you for the whole walk, and there will be a wierd spot that looks as if the sand just drops off into the water. It will be coverd in sea-weed and kelp and will most likely smell awefull.

 Additional Information

Every time i've been here its been on a small day, around waist high. Pretty much about the same surf as gilgo except absolutly no crowd and slightly more consistent. My friends and I have came here a couple times for a change of scenery on tiny days and we always ended up finding fun rides. No clue about its potential.

Atmosphere

The waves are real fun and you can find rides on either side of the big sea-weed and kelp deposits in the middle, but if you really wana man-up than take it right in the middle. You'll get longer rides and you'll smell great. Seems to break better to the left, but theres rights to be had as well. The few times i was there on small glassy days it was even starting to get a little hollow on a waist high waves so check it and leave some input.

General

Fun empty waves, me and my buddies made a day trip out of it when there was crowded tiny waves everyplace else. Good stuf give it a try. We called it Sahara because of the long walk from the cedar parking lot in that ridiculously hot sand, we dubbed it stinks for obvious reasons when we got there.
