Tricky. Drive 55km south of Luanda passing the turn-off to the shipwreck and Buraco, continue past Palmeirinhas until you come to the local beauty spot of Miradouro da Lua - a cliff top parking overlooking the coastal plain. From here continue 1.5km south and take the first less-than-obvious track on your right. This leads 2km along and down a dry river bed, to a fishing village. The spot is the obvious headland. The track requires a 4x4, and is virtually impassable in times of rain.

Atmosphere
The water is usually murky and you are not far from the Kwanza river mouth. However, no shark sightings, and the fishermen confirm that this is not a problem. Lots of rays, often jumoing out of the water around us.

General
This wave can be a really fun day out. Its the reliable wave when not much else is working, especially as it is protected somewhat from the winds that affect most other waves in this area.
