The wave breaks in a bay, thus well-protected from wind, bottom seems to be rocky with sand and there is enough water so don't worry. Very long wave so make sure you bring your arms with you for long rides!

Like everywhere, be respectful with local people, there is no problem to surf there but tourists/surfers are very rare, you'll be the only surfer for sure, young men will try to sell you fish or lobster, negotiate the price and enjoy!
