- Rocks
- Localism
- Pollution
this is the most polluted wave I ever surfed.
The beach is full of trash and there is a pipe going into the water with shit.
The smell is amazing.
Come here if nothing else is working.
There will always be a wave.
They have removed the squatters village (100's + of people) to up over the hill. So, the raw sewage is not as bad but the chemicals (hence the fizzy water) from the cement factory is still going strong. Your throat will definitely burn for awhile (that should tell you something).
Atmosphere
mid tide and higher only. As soon as the tide gets high enough all the local boys will paddle out. Show skill and respect and don't bring a crowd and they are totally cool. Any wind (except southerly) will blow this place out.

Polluted - I surfed there 3 months ago. It‘s still very polluted and a lot of sewage is flowing into the ocean. The wave qualitiy is pretty good but from 8 surfers in the water 5 got sick (stomack problems) after the surf session. Better avoid even when some local surfers are in the water.

Try if you dare - Went here last year and yes, looked out to see a great wave peeling along. Went over for a closer look and jumped over streams of bright green sewage coming out of the slum village and followed the tide line which was thick with more sewage and rubbish. No way was I jumping in there, if you gotta cut you could be in big trouble.

Guernsey - It's not called 'fizzy water' for no reason. The water's posionoius.Avoid.
