Its about an hour North of the town of Krui, which is about 6 hours from Bandar Lampung on mainland Java. You need to fly there from Jakarta or Bali. Don't want to say too much but just follow the main road and you will get there eventually :) With luck you will see an epic right (Jimmys Right) and the other side of the bay is the Left DistanceTake a car WalkInstant access (< 5min) Easy to find?OK Public access?Public access Special accessDon't know |

A very hollow wave on a sharp and shallow coral reef. Often blown out bc it's exposed to trade wind. Watch out, the last section of the right ends on dry reef and is extremely dangerous.
Atmosphere
The spot needs a good swell to start working, but when it's on it's extremely powerful! The coral is razor sharp so watch out.

comment - Keeping the comments unbiased and honest for a moment so people can simply get an idea of the place with out the heavy opinionated overtones....
Jimmy's are quite serious top-bottom barreling waves that break on very sharp coral reef. Definitely NOT for average surfers, unless you are nuts. Can have perfect shape, they pick up most of the swell and can handle 6-8-10ft+, but both kind of close out on the inside, the right badly. I would'nt worry about these places getting crowded, only serious chargers (standup/booger) are going to enjoy these waves. If you charge hard enough for Jimmy's or Honeys or banana island, then you have many waves to choose from all over indo that the normal person will not attempt to surf. I have nothing to do with any surf camp etc. I came here and camped.

Racism - Wow, so the guy below met some americans who couldn't surf so they're now on his shitlist. That's awesome, obviously a very open minded person, and he was quite humble about how hard he was getting shacked. This seems like a real stand up guy. There are alot of people from the USA, you're doing yourself a disfavor if you think they're all the same...there are plenty of package tour kooks out there, i should know, i run tours for them, and half of my clientele is Australian, so whoops, there you go. Atleast people from the US are open minded and not racist idiots. Get over your jealousy and open your mind a little. Not everyone has the time to dedicate their lives to surfing and yeah it sucks that they come and crowd lineups and all that but to put a whole country on your shitlist? you really are an idiot. Americans are all kooks, especially that guy, umm what's his name, Kelly Slater or something? Riiiiight.

American kooks??? - Sign me up for a package deal with some seppo package deal kooks please. I'd hate to be surfing with some hellman, ego Aussie wanker crew.
I travelled the Indo malaria trail 25 years ago and surfed some of the breaks solo that are crowded now. Just because I can't do that now doesn't make me a package deal kook.
