Drive from padang direction east for about 1 hour. and find a place call TIN TIN (a losseman kind of inn). so drive back for 10 minutes back and watch down the hill you will fin a luxury foret eih normal we are in indo so you will fin a kind of "tombstone for indonesia independance" park your 4X4 and go into the forest (please take extremly care for the monkey they are really not friendly so walk for about 10 minutes and you will find NIRVANA.. The spot is 200 meters from the black sand beach. it's a nice place to surf the water is incredibely clear and there's something special here the wawe break on reef but white reef!!! so when you're surfing the reef under your feeet is
white !!it's cause most of the fisherman a decade ago fish with dynamite!! so they killed the coral and it's now all white. a nice right wawe wait for you with a nice bowl and a easy tube. so if you re lost in sumatra and get not enough time to go to other place try it.

and incredibly place a secret spot like this one you can find thousand in indo just take a 4X4 and drive with friends boards and beer

hmm, maybe he means to the north - when flying into padang there looks to be a good rivermouth about 5-10k to the north, hopefuly far enough out of town that the water will be safe, seen long lefts peeling of a perfectly shaped bank

Talk it up - Yep agreed. Waht a crock of shit. You can pretty much write off surfing 3 hours north and south of Padang except for Cholera Creek and a couple of crappy beach breaks in town. Go west young man
