Good small waves near Tokyo. A lot of surfers from Tokyo are coming here. It's THE place.

NEED A CROWD SHOT OF SHONAN - I am finishing a book called Extreme Surf which is about Longest Wave, Deadliest Wave. Most Crowded Wave, Heaviest Wave, etc.
One of the chapters is about Most Crowded Wave, and both John Callahan and Garret McNamara said that Shonan in summer is one of the most crowded places they have ever see.
I am trying to find a photo that illustrates that: Shonan with hundreds of surfers in the water.
And if Fuji is in the background, that would be nice, too.
If you could email your shots low res and watermarked, i will pass them on to the publisher.
Thanks.

Dorons surfers - When surfing out around Chigasaki, you will notice a certain pattern to peoples board, you will see an Indian sign with a circle around it and it says Satya on the bottom of it. This is my local surf brand and if you see any people riding them take a moment and say hi to them, I'm sure they will always welcome you to their spot and enjoy the beauty of riding waves.

Tama - Surfed Tamaishi yesterday afternoon. The swell picked up around 4. Overhead, hard offshore and about a foot deep breaking over the sharp rocks. Gotta love it, keeps the beach goers away. This last typhonn didn't quite bring the sell I was hoping for. It was good though. Got my eyes open for the next one.
