- pretty cool wave rocks lately have been covered in seagrass so reef is kinda spongy but should wear booties theres a fair few fukin urchins out there

Sharky - Firstly it is called sharky.
Sharky rights work best at 4-5ft, and a little east in the swell is best to fit the reef contours.
Sharky lefts are dependent on the sand banks of willies to be really good, where the ride will take you all the way to the rocks at the boiler - else its a steep-ish drop (depending on tide), then cutback city - hence why its preferred by mals and learners.
Sharky has 3 distinct reefs, and 4-5ft breaking on second reef is about best. larger than this and the outer 3rd reef comes into play, but this is mainly a big take-off and a roll-in to second reef and beyond. Frankly, when Sharky 3rd reef is breaking, then Thommos or Headies is probably catching your eye anyway
