good day at granite - I came up to QLD from vic the first week in Feb and had the best surf of my life. Over head high and surfing a 6'4" fish with 2 vico mates and three locals we had 6 1/2 hrs in the water. What a day!!!

best spot ont he coast? - um granite is usually a lot bigger than the other bays and always less crowded, it is really easy to paddle out (as long as you dont get caught inside) and i have seen it hold 8ft.
