The swell is consistantly small, the locals say they have not had much swell on the beach for almost a year. The best place to surf is on the headland at the northern end of the beach or closer to the rocks at the southern end of the beach depending on winds.

In all Kings Beach is a great spot to learn to surf or to just bust out for the local photogs and chicks. Everyone around kings is friendly except for the occasional loudmouth or old ladies.

Kings - Kings isnt usually pumping, but when it is, preety much every guy on the coast is out there. Groyne is gnarley as, but just to the side of it is "halfways". When its a bit bigger and you want to bail on the crowds just paddle over and be patient, somethings bound to come through. Kings is where I learnt and I preety much go there every day (unless I can hitch a lift with someone). It might not be the best break in the world but its treated me well over the years.

yer mate kings - good work gaz tell that fool ...look hahaha mate just watch free az a dog and ull see tha reall bar and wat do u think u r goin to do wen tha NE wind iz sreaming??? bet me life there wuld be a sik litte wave at kings or tha groin or evan tha bar or tha point wat more do u want mate ..now u go and surf ann st mate

- yeh kings can be awsum i was ther at start of xmas hols and all the other beaches were chopped out n kings had an awsum clean 5ft wave coming in sets of 3
