depending on sand build up and swell it can have either right or lefts or both. any wind from the north is good but is best in a n/e. its a heavy wave with a mongrel access to the water. best to surf it at low tide on the incoming but dont let it fill up to much! youll find out why!
Atmosphere
pretty sketchy place as you wont have others around for the "local heavies" to bite
General
if the banks are on and woolies is packed, not a bad option

its not pyramids - No such wave as pyramid rock. Mexicos was given this name by a complete tool of a bloke who thinks he owns the place. Truth is its very fickle only works on certain tides and swell direction. I've been surfing it for about 10yrs with a few mates and only get it real good maybe 8-10 times a year. But hey when it works its one of the best fun booger waves I've ever surfed and I've been round the world surfing. Standups would have a hell of a time getting to their feet and not losing fins on the end section as it is only a few inches to maybe a foot deep.
