- Have had a few great surfs at Bushrangers, but a bugger of a walk to find it not working. Take food and drink, its a long way to the car.

Potentional - Went to Bushrangers bay today was about 2-3ft with the off 4ft set, ocean swell was about 3-5ft. I was bodyboarding there, their is a quick right handed bank next to the rocks and kelp on the right handed side of the bay. On some waves you can get a good 5 second ride on, but i wouldn't recommend it for surfers since you take off then drop down to a steep ledgy shorebreak which drills you. but good for bodyboardings who don't mind praticing some sick airs or just enjoy eating sand and kelp
On a biggish swell 6-8ft ocean and at high i think there would be potential on the left hander next to elephant rock. I saw surfers there on some 2ft peelers at lowish tide , the average ride is about 10-15 seconds for that bit.
Or you can go around a corner where i found a spot but thats all im going to give away.
