- Rips / undertow
- Localism
Take the drop, pull into the barrel and aim for the light. Don't drop in and don't look sideways at anyone. If you don't have a sound knowledge of tides don't even think about surfing this wave.
This break has a very sharky reputation (not suprisingly)
Atmosphere
Psycho, scary locals and treacherous rips. When this place breaks the locals hit it hard; boats come from everywhere. There are very few places that work in the conditions required for this spot.
General
Hollow, powerful barrel. Hollow, powerful barrel. Fifteen years ago you could have had this wave to yourself. If it is breaking you will struggle to get a wave if you don't know the locals. You'll be forced to sit wide and pick up the leftovers.

mad - we didnt know if the dredging would stuff up corsair so we went on a couple trips over there during summer. made sure conditions were ok - good. and we scored some serious size, sets out the back were being charged and ripped, i saw some guys get smashed in the barell of some 6ft at least sets, honest. we just stuck around crystals and scored smaller but suckier pits. wasnt fully linking up, but still epic. oh yeah, counted over 32 boats those days. thats about 90 people in the line up.
