Used to be easy to get to, but after the development came in, you cant drive through. Just ride along the coastline down to Freo, and you'll see a roundabout with a bit of development happening in front of it. take the roundabout right and drive down this small sloped erosion kind of thing. Then all you have to do is park in the next car park (which should be the next to Leighton Surf lifesaving clubhouse)
In other words, look for the Surf club house. its right there

Additional Information
Short waves, so make the most of it. Waves can get great here on the right swell/tide, as Ive surfed waves overhead here before.
great winter spot
This place can get crowded on weekends in Summer. this is a PUBLIC beach. It'll get packed on Saturdays and Sundays, and the problem about this they put the flags where the swell is. AS suggested, a winter spot

Atmosphere
Locals here are almost usually never aggressive... but just watch out for the beginners and mal riders down here. They can get in your way, but don't shout or yell at them. they'll realise sooner or later what they're doing wrong.
