When you arrive at Natadola beach (near the Hotel), you see in front the beach with that strange shorebreak, here on the left side of the beach is the inner reef of natadola. The outer reef is approx.300m out, on the rigth side of the island in front. This reef dry most of the time, it only works at full moon or new moon only at high tide, but then it's ok. Natadola Reef - Day I was there in March 05 it was small on the left side reef. Went out there on a local boat $5. Looked like it would be ok with more swell. Massive drop off the reef into very deep water. Really exposed location so don't paddle out there it will take you ages.

has potential - We were there in July of 2005 for a seven-day wind, which means it blew out of the southeast at 20+ knots. We took a boat ride to check it out, but it was disorganized and sketchy. I'd like to see this place with no wind and overhead sets - it looked like it had potential.
