Kiritimati - We went on a surf trip to Kiritimati earlier this year. Nice place a good waves, although some of teh reefs are pretty sketchy as they all tend to be made up of rock pinnacles and you will have to keep an eye on the rogue shallow ones. Plenty of set-ups, both lefts and rights and a good beachbreak in London. Take all you need as there is only a few surfers and they don't have anything to spare. Wind is offshore all day everyday, just need to wait for the swell. Swell is from the NW Novemeber to April (same storms as Hawaii) and SW to SE swells June to September (same as Fiji), so pretty consistent groundswells. Basic accommodation but nice people. Worth a look for something different.
