Merizo Magic - I was in Guam for 6 months and surfed the entire season from August-February. I'm originally from Hawaii and have to admit Guam had some pretty good surf. Every morning I'd wake up and go to Merizo (won't say where but you locals know about da gas station). First time I ever surfed that place I paddled out to the lefts because the right was too crowded. I was wondering why nobody was surfing the left, until I got out there. Solid 6-8 feet, perfect off shore winds, blue-as-fuck water, and some of the sickest pits!!!! No shet!!! You locals know about that inside bowl. I surfed other places on the island - boat basin, rick's reef, talafofo, marine lab, cemeteries, magandas, etc. None of them compared to Merizo! To you locals... I totally respect that place and the people. Mahalo for letting me surf out there!
