The spot is located 8 km after village Sinemorec, Black Sea. There is a dirty road (2km) on the left that reach at 100m near the beach, the name of the place is Silistar. It is located in protected area, but no docs are needed to access the place. only passport (the place is near to the national border with Turkey)sometimes ;). there is great waves when the wind is toward SW or W (rare) directions. Sometimes happens that more than 10 days there is no waves, but sometimes almost 10 days with great waves. the waves are different from ocean type, not so long, but fast. great for boogie and surf.
Atmosphere
the spot is one of the greatest place, try it in may-june or in september-occtober - you will be alone (may be only we will be there)

surf in bulgaria - Helllo ...iam from spain and i will go to bulgaria for 3 month, i like to do surf and i want to know this beach and the waves.....i will go in 1 marz..... its a good time to go ......

About Silistar - I see that people are interested about Silistar. It is a great place. Most of the Bulgarian beaches are now overcrowded and there are many hotels sitting right ontop of them. But Silistar and some other places are still untuched. BUT BE CAREFULL. There are very dangerous currents at Silistar. They change fast and many people have had problems there. Last year (2008) 5 guys found thair death at this place!!!
