If you are lucky enough to make it to Government Pt. your options are open to surf a couple more spots south without getting caught. Wear bootys.
Atmosphere
The rocks are a hassle along the cliff, so wear some nice bootys. Its pretty fun once you get out there, kinda spooky with the kelp and random boats passing by, im sure there are some lonley sharks too.

surfed it, not impressed - not sure what tide this place takes or what swell but I surfed it about waist to chest high and it wasnt much of a wave. it was a quick takeoff and a few pumps before it dumped on the inside. Am I wrong?

- i caught the best waves of my life at perkos. overhead and offshore just me and my friend. surfed til couldnt paddle anymore. talked about it for hours after how perfect it was.

- ya i caught the best tube of my life at perkos, we dropped anchor for 2 days at goverments also great fishing and Trent [commercial fishing dude we boat camped wth the Best boat neighbor of all time].God Bless Ill be back .the 3 crazy dudes RODNEY RANDY & CAPTAIN BIG JOHN . I BARELY GRADUATED SO TAKE IT EASY WHEN YOU READ THIS .
