Just tell the security guard to let you in because you're a surfer. It's a secret code.

Atmosphere
General
A somewhat sloppy wave that is usually breaking, even then it is one of the best waves on the Ranch,… the ranch is way too hyped for what it usually actually is.

gets heavy - auggies at DOH sets up a heavy bowl and makes for a screaming takeoff. Rewarding if you make it, but the urchin-covered reef will let you know if you blow it.

pic inaccurate - the pic is actually of Big Drakes.Augies is further up,a couple rt. reefs next to small headland, not a real pt.I'm a rancher.Augies is a good option for boaters, its a decent wave and usually no one on it.

Auggies: the truth - auggies = soggies. i grew up sponging here then switched to surfing, we learned at auggies. the wave is garbage 9 time out of 10. It will normally break real quick then back off in a deepwater channel leaving u confused. but if u wanna surf auggies good luck, more power to u.
