Atmosphere
No surfers out. Surfed when buoy was at 8ft/7sec (25-30kt NE wind across Lake Erie, Sept 7 2011). Wind was actually north at the spot so it was blowing off shore of the point while waves rolled in. Would have been GREAT for a paddleboard. I had a long board and caught 2 breaks on the way into Bay Point. With big waves it breaks several times on the way into the beach. I didn't get to check out further south on the beach unfortunately. There may have been bigger breaks since the waves would reach shallow water without traveling along the shoreline.

Crazy after BIG storms - This spot gets some crazy breaks (by lake erie standards)if you go out right after a big storm when there are strong winds. Biggest i have seen were some 15-20ft rollers that you could probably catch but were breaking way to close to shore to really ride.
