HOW TO DO CHILE - 1. Hire a car or van.
hostels are expensive (compared to the rest of latin americe) at least 10luk or around 20usd night,
2. Dont pay for a surf tour. theyll only take you to. 1. puertcillo, punta de lobos, sothern points of Buchupuero.
3. just get the car, surf punta de lobos a bit and GO SOUTH. Buchupureo and the million other points in the region (rinconada etc) the whole coast is point breaks. check the volcom movie Psychic Migrations to get an idea... Enjoy My Home Country, Its a beautiful place, respect the nature and enjoy the endless lefts! welcome to cold water indonesia

COLD WATER HEAVEN The best and most uncrowded waves you will ever find in the south just bring a wetsuit - The best waves of the zone were for sure in the Buchupureo area. It was a little heaven on earth here. There are tons of spots in the area that are super sick like Pullay,Rinconada and Tregaulemu to name a few,all very close plus theres a million other spots around you just need to go for a look and the coast road pretty much runs along the whole golden stretch.
If you want to get tubed this is the place to find them.
If you're there in winter go to Chillan for snowboarding. Some of the locals say its one of the best mountains in Chile to ride.
