"The Right". 1 Guess why it's called that. Not hard to figure that one out, but this wave is different to any right i've ever surfed. It's hard to compare different waves to each other, but maybe you could say its a similar version of Teahupoo only right, matching its power and quick arrival out of the deep West Australian water. One difference in particular is that after its initial break on the shallow shelf, it quickly falls into a deep section where it can hold you down for a very long time. I'd be lying if i said i was wasn't scared surfing this wave... 08:05
