- Rocks
a winter spot .wait for swells from anticyclones.works also in summer after cyclones.a fun spot with 4 lines up.easily crowded for lack of space.the best wave is a point break : the swell rushes past the coral island , curves inside and pushes the surfer down a left wave.funny!! Beware the boulder protruding at 50 m specially at low tide.
Atmosphere
a wild and isolated spot on the mauritian south coast.the trip is itself beautiful.locals from villages nearby are friendly : greet them , they expect it!!
General
a funny non dangerous tailor made for beginners and intermediate surfers

i surfed ur breaks - i have just come back from a trip to mauritius and had no worries. as far as i can see the so called 'white shorts' and the guys into localism a simply little kids gettin a hard on over bein a prick over the net. All the people i met over there were real nice people, who i found were willing to share local surf knowledge with travellers as long as they were respectful. As most of us are! Surf the spots in the south west from tamarin down to soulliac, they rock. 'one eye' has to be my epic wave though. jay, (u.k.)

OUT - OK man, you are a peace lover...But, If you really respect the petit sancho locals, don't try get this spot full of people, to get it more crowded, but you will lose this game.Because these people don't know what "full crowd" is, because they don't travell. They are realyy cool, but we have to protect them from silly people like you.I think they are beginning to understand.Go home. Go back to Paris, or make surfbusiness in biarritz hossegor..... Tourists are not allowed.
