It's a ten kilometer drive from Gordon's Bay along the coast road. You'll round one of the many corners and see the long white beach streched out in front of you. Caves is directly below. Park at the first car park across the road and walk down the single track to the Caves. It's a summer break and picks up the most swell of any spot in Cape Town. Be friendly to the locals or they will drop in. Cars get broken into by dorks who don't have anything better to do.

Absolutely the most beautiful place in the world in summer - clear water, good waves, little water drizzle over the rocks, a cave and coarse white sand.
Not too crowded.
Surfchamps are held there often

General
Best spot if you are a local - better than most spots I have surfed around the world.
Epic. Works even if swell is very small
When swell is too big go to Bettiesbay 20 min drive

No NEWBIES!! - i just want to add that if your new in this dont even think of coming to this spot. the locals dont take kind notice to people who dont know what they are doin. if you cant surf bigger than 2ft. stay away. go to silkies if your amped for small waves. please if you dont know what your doing just stay away. its just better for everyone if the people surfing the spot knows how to hold a board and ride a wave.
