Additional Information
Probably the most frustrating break on the South Coast, beautiful beach, lovely scenery and empty in terms of surfing. EXCEPT, the bloody rocks on the right and left of the bay reduce the size and power of the waves coming through.

Atmosphere
Without the rock in the middle of the point this place could be really sick and sometimes is when the tides out.
Ramsgate is a good place to base a surf trip from. Close to margate, Southbroom, Ski-Boat Bay and even St Mikes.

General
Powerful wave with a lot of water behind it, cant hold big swell and therefore closeouts. Best in the morning.

what to say - far too many rips, one going left and the other right...too many vaalies on the beach during summer season...u have to work hard for your waves...cant handle big swell but can have a sick break on the right off the point. guys just come here and say "its useless" but its not really that bad if your an experienced surfer
