Kak spot usually more a beginers wave but on big swell in winter it can get fairly descent. Best bet is to walk away from harbour side and find which peak looks best. Other side of harbour wall is a small bodyboarders wedge but mission to get to it.
Atmosphere
Not worth the mission but on big swell it might be worth a look. (If all else is kak)
General
Early winter mornings best. Noone else ever really out except kids.
