Atmosphere
I have spent a fair amount of time at this spot. It has been twenty years now but I imagine it still works, maybe someone has an update seen as fence, Millars and Avalanche seem the same.
I can tell you that it can hold a 10'- 12'wave, I have seen it during the storm of '80 but it needs a huge swell to attain this size, the wave then is world class.
There are pics of this spot in a 1980 Zigzag magazine at 10'+ if you can find one.
Locals used to be friendly unless you are obnoxious!
General
I hope someone can add to this with a more modern update and some pics as I live in the States now.

Baked Beans in a can - This spot still works from time to time, it tends however to be a slow wave compared to other spots around PE like Avo's and Noordhoek, However, it does have a good wave every now and again and usually not crowded, when the swell is working and it's between tides, its deff worth a look.

gebakte boontjies - i think that the construction of the pier altered the form of this wave slightly. it still breaks in a big ground swell and usually less crowded than the other spots. i find that i seem to wait longer for the sets to come in aswell.
