Park your car in the parking lot(but try and keep an eye out..crime).Be nice to the locals and show respect or else you have a long walk home.
Use the rip from the river to paddle out, but be carefull not to be sucked out to sea(Not fun paddling for 30 min against a river currant!!!).Look out for sharks!!
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is good if you show respect to the locals.Don't be greedy or waste waves cause the locals won't take it.The Spot is world class..it's like J-Bay but with a Sandy bottom and hollower!!!!

This spot fires - I used to live at Bluewater Bay back in the 80's and this place left me with some lasting memories. The banks need to be spot on with a north west wind and you should score the waves of your life. Watch out for sharks though!!
