Atmosphere
Most beautiful non-tropical spot I've ever surfed. Whales, dolphin, incredible scenery. Completely deserted and 3 metre faces on the one day I was there...

I will never forget this spot!

Watch out for the rips & dangerous waters - the water is full of suprises, talk to the local fisherman before going out, if in doubt don't go out. Local surfers have the bests advise ....

hit & miss - Scary and fickle spot, doesn't like the wind. Nobody around. Definitely SHARKY!

Nature's Valley - There are hidden rips and not-hidden rips... I have had to help rescue people before... I think there was one summer where three people drowned at this beach (this is a large number considering it was summer - the only time when there are lifeguards somewhere on the 3km long beach.)But the beach is beautiful! That's why we have a cottage in Nature's! The waves can be good (fickle though - if it gets too big the waves close out across the channels... and it is exposed to swell, many days in winter it is a stormy terrifying mosh-pit)...when it's good though, usually at dawn before wind blows, surfing on your own in glassy waves and then being joined by dolphins is classic!
