Additional Information
Named after the local Garden routes Lourie bird, weve seen a few of them around here. Tricky spot to access. It is inbetween Vicbay and Harolds Bay so you gotta get there with a boat. We found it by accident while fishing up here. Surfed it twice now and deffinately planning on making more of a trip to there. The wave breaks into a pretty large rocky bay close to a rivermouth, (Not sure which river) so you wanna watch out for sharks. Its an intense wave that breaks over a shallow reef which eventually closes out so you gotta pull out towards the end. If you wipeout you will be washed up into the small beach. There are no roads or paths and paddling back out is tricky especially with big swell and fierce currents so time the sets well.

Atmosphere
Predominantly righthand wave. Seen a few dolphins around aswell. I doubt whether anyone else has surfed here.

General
Really good wave when its on but dont bother when its too big cause you might just get stuck in the bay. Beautiful scenery all around in the middle of nowhere. Everything looks exactly the same way God left it.. untouched..
