there may be different way to the spot but for my part i walk from repos beach(the beach of Auroville) 15min south to the jetty.

I don't have a great experience in surfing so i won't say much. nice ways on the middle of the jetty and some for better surfers at the end of the jetty.

Atmosphere

I spent a week end there, we stayed in a very cheap wood hut on the beach.we rent some boards to a young guy called "velu" at the "waves guest house" on Repos beach but there is also one french guy who created a surf school renting boards closer to the spot.

Surfing along ECR Chennai - along bay of bengal - Bay of Life surf, is a awesome place to learn surfing in Chennai.
