Blacksands is accessed by the same road that goes to Holtekamp. There is a small road to the left (west) just before arriving at the shore line, with a small wooden guard shack. Atmosphere

Sand-fleas, so helps to add Dettol (local antiseptic) to sun-block to prevent sand-flea bites. Don't park under the coconut trees, b/c the coconuts do fall and they are not light!

Good spot that breaks regularly, but closes out when the swell is bigger. Not always the best for small kids, and occasional rip tides wash smaller kids toward possible fallen trees or other obstructions in the water. Beach is nicely shaded.
