Locals RIP here. Great atmosphere and tons of chics during summer. Surf is a fun wave to rip. Holds about 8ft or so. Good sand bars all year round.
Atmosphere
Good place to slab it on a small day. Other beaches like Ohama are not. When it gets good, it's good! Smile and respect the locals.
General
Classic spot. Locals rip and towny chics are plenty. Many Pros are born on this area. Ohno bros are from here.

- Best beach break in west Izu i think, very sheltered so if Shirahama and all the other spots are choppy and messed up, this one is still glassy.
If there's no surf up here, it probably won't be anywhere else in the area. For that reason always crowded and many locals.
