Too easy! Carpark with a view and simple beach-break paddle out.
Atmosphere
This is a great place to surf with punchy waves.It is awesome in winter but you've really got to like cold (freezing) water. The locals are very cool and you won't have any hassles (unless you're an idiot).

living in Hiroshima - Does anyone know if there are spots in this vicinity that I can get to w/out a car? I'm living in Hiro. City & am looking for an accessible break for weekends &/or day-trips... I hear Hamada is decent, but can I get there?

water is chilly! - The water is fucking cold!!! if you like seafood...it's the best place to eat sashimi....

Nice Wave!! - Just came back from Kokofu beach.....I was surprised the wave was pretty good. I've been listening to all the stories about no wave on the West Coast, ITS RUBBISH!!!They have a little swell collector in Kokofu beach!!Ive got some good photos I chuck on soon.PEACE!!
