There is a small carpark and toilet facilities. On very good days there are a handful of locals but usually just one surfer here (Jon from UK). Hes got a house just up the road and is very hospitable if you happen to bump into him. On a very good day (approx 15 days a year) it gets pretty big but very strong currents.

- Yeap its not the most regular surf in the world but during typhoon season they do often come rollin in at around 3metres. This is in my opinion the best surf on the West coast of Japan. The best thing is that Monday to Friday its just me out there and, of a weekend a handful of Japanese at most. Very friendly, but a long way to come unless youve checked the wave forecast!

Update - Recently been going off big time. A very nice hollow right, lots of fun. Water is now starting to get rather cold, time to put on the new fireskin! Incidentally theres just one surf shop in the local town of Wajima. It's called "Water Island Surf", very friendly local scene, all Japanese apart from me but incredibly kind and hospitable.
