don't forget to bring your balls - this spot is great, but packs a fair bit of punch. i heard the actual cloud 9 break is even stronger though.there is a ncie mellow spot over on dako island just out from general luna which is really fun, except for the bluebottles if there's a wind blowing from the sea.

Stimpeys - Surfed it 100 times ++ - Having lived on Siargao for over three years I have surfed this spot more than 100 times. A W/NW wind blows offshore. At 2-4 foot it's a fun walling wave with the odd 100 peso head-dip on offer. Still rideable if the wind's N/NE which is common in the monsoon season. Over 4 foot it becomes more serious, thick unpredictable barrels on offer if the wind's right. Bring a board with length 7'2" or bigger as you'll find it hard to take-off on the big days with just a normal shortboard. Stimpeys can be crowded or empty. It can be perfect, long, walling lefts or thick, lethal close-out barrels or crappy mushy peaks. I've surfed it in all conditions, sometimes alone out there in a perfect world.
