good luck catching this one - I lived in Kaohsiung for a couple years back in the early 90's - always checked this place and only once ever saw it breaking. I come back to KHH a couple of times a year nowadays and keep checking it and have only found the beach to get cleaner (marginally) but still almost it is always flat. Being located on the west side will do that. However when the wind picks up I have seen some windsurfers going off. I did catch a couple of really fun sessions back in the day up in DaXi. Of course back then there were only 5 - 10 surfers on the whole island! Had I lived on the East Coast I am sure I would have been out many more times. take care all and stay stoked!
