excellent atmosphere, great country , funny waves, many cheap accomodation on the island, a lot of sopts to discover.....Sai Kaow is the first beach .....

Went there first time in october 2000.3-4 feet, glassy, alone, tubular in the shore break..great great fun !!!went back this year on may , 6 feet , still alone, still glassy, no rocks, no sharks, nothing, just pure fun...

This spot is my favourite in Thailand east coast, I am living here for two years, chasing around...will keep you posted for sure if I find another beauty....

chang - went there in july, waves were coming in in 5 rows and were very powerful, but were going all over the place. according to the locals very unusual sea behaviour. i didnt see any surfboard rentals though...

COOL PLACE - i went there beginning of may, no board, the surf was 2/3ft and pretty clean, rent a scooter to get around the island great place but no road rules or police so becarefull. big trucks come flying round bline corners on the wrong side of the road! its funny

surfing thailand - i have surfed in thailand for the last ten years and there is some good days but its mostly wind chop and if you are a serious surfer you would be better off going somewhere else. the best surf is down in the muslim areas take your chances, most of them are very nice people
