- Rocks
- Pollution
It's further than you think to paddle out to the right and the left requires a 20 minute hike over broken dead coral and a rock hop out to the break so wearing a pair of booties is adviseable. The beach to the south has decent waves around the rivermouth.
Atmosphere
Needs a clean groundswell to work properly. Can lay dormant for months at a time.
General
Great wave when it's on, only really works in the shoulder season though (April/May and Oct/Nov)and with favourable winds.

A total wast of time!!! - This spot should be taken off the map! This is by far the worst place I have surfed in my entire life! Long drive to get there, nothing about, no shops, no food, nothing , long paddle, small mushy weak waves, rocky bottom. absolute SLOP! Any beach break in Phuket is way better.

Grab a taxi to corner - My favourite wave in Khao Lak-Taxi's/a long, fun right surfed only at high tide.Similar to Three's on Waikiki.Surfed Taxi's with Matt and also alone.
Second favourite wave is Corner.A long, fun left similar to Butterbox in Sydney.Maximum crowd-5...Surfed low to mid tide.
Thanks for everything Matt and Anny and I will see you next year....
