Bit of a trek to get there but you can get a good wave there occasionally. Turn of the Pacific Highway about 18km North Coffs Harbour into Sandy Beach (follow the signs to sandy beach) Drive right down to the Southern Car park. you will have to walk over the dunes to get there but worth a lot in the right conditions. locals - back sandy is for locals only...ok. any blow in's that come our way can surf main beach. In extreme cases e.g a blow in that drops in. Your can expect a windscreen waxing. STAY OUT

Sandy Locals got nuthing - ooooooh no not a window wax service, dont be scared of the locals they are nothing,they yell at u then run away, then they come back with 5 other lads and yell at u some more, Sawty Boys smashed the Sandy Crew at a party once, go the Sawty Boys
