North wall mainly works on a big swell when almost everything is out of control, so you know what this means... Lids, lids and more lids plus groms. Is actually a break wall on the south end of Park Beach and as the rip pulls out against the wall it sucks up known as the wedge, a very shallow and hollow right hander.
Atmosphere
There are 3 good sanbanks:
1.the wedge which is a hollow right which breaks off the breakwall
2. the middle bank which breaks left and right and is fast and hollow.
3. the bank known as suicides to locals which is right down near the end of northies and is a fast, powerful, big and heavy wave which closes out in shallow water
It can also have some good barrels and doesnt close out as much when the banks are good.
General
The atmosphere is great, i locally surf here and know the place really well and it can be so perfect. The reef is also really good to which is pretty much the reef break of northwall and its about a 100m paddle from the breakwall.
It's a gnarly spot, chek it out when the swell is big!

bullshit - i am a local at this spot and i remember the time when it used to pump for 3 days straight and everytime me and a select few would come down for the early it wuld b deserted and empty peaks for ourselves and other bodyboarders only coming out who wer local or who had skills. now day i rock up at a decent time and find that thers 10 people out its high tide and going onshore, and its worse wen its good reef! and half the people out there cant even spin let alone make a barrel.
