It breaks left and right when it's big it's a bit harder to make the drops on a surfboard, easy for boggers but if you do make it you will get the best barrel ever and carve the wave up as well. You can park at the surf club, there's a big parking area there but park wherever you can it's not that crowded, great place to stay.
Atmosphere
The locals are friendly people but dont snake em! They will accept you in the area pretty fast. Great place to stay we keep to ourself there's a lot of fun things to do in the water and there's a whole range of wave riders from mals, short boards, bodyboarders kneeboarders etc...
General
It's a sick spot cause I live there but if you want to challenge the big waves when the swell hits this is the spot for you and there is a number of other breaks down and up the beach eg: river mouth, tuckers rock.

- northy is a great place to surf/bodyboard. When it is high tide and no wind the shories are epic!!1 It is a great place to catch a wave and have some fun. Northy still has no crowds as such, as im a local it's just me and another two boggers out there. Great waves, love =local=

boogers wave - North Beach is a great place for a wave, especially if your a bodyboarder as most days there is hollow, powerful, fun shories. At low tide you will more than likely get a wave suited for surfers as there is always a bar out the back and is less challenging. Not only does North Beach have good waves it basicly has no crowd.I myself being a local i have only seen a maximum crowd of 12 people. the usual crowd is myself and 2 other boogers as the the other local boogers and surfers dont come out in the shories as they are usually very challenging.

I love this break - hey i went up to mylestom last january, had beest surf ive seen anywhere including movies fairly consistently for the first two weeks of jan. Wasn't the shorey, there were a number of quality peaks up and down the beach, the best being in front of the clubhouse. Best barrels and walls ever! Best of all - had it all to myself apart from a couple of longboarders on the weekends and my mate who came with me - no one else but the dolphins. Does it get this good often?
