This shory only works good/properly in big south swell because it is rigt in the corner. But when it dose work and the sand is right it can be a stack of fun and you are almost garented a fun/sucky pitt. The best place to sit is in line with the rocks that line the shore. The best waves are the bigger peaky ones with a good wall on the right. if you are paranoyed about surfing shallow sucky waves because you dont want to snap your board then you might want to give this wave a pass.
Atmosphere
Love surfing this spot when it breaks properly, especialy when i couldn't be bothered doing alot of paddeling, or i feel like surfing a sucky wave. Its also a great wave to body surf if your scared of snapping your board on the sand. I'v come out of a stak of pitts bodysurfing it.

gay cunt - which fucker put this on is obviously a fuckin kook. 'Spoon bay shory' 'Spoon South'? wen its good it aint no shorey, and its called south point. this is turning into a joke. the spot hasnt turned on for nearly 12 months, its just bin a hunk of shit. STICK TO VEGEMITE LEDGE YOU KOOK.
