port, bad locals - I was out port reef one day and i saw some poor guy get the crap beaten outta him for dropping in on one of the locals. I dont know whats nastier, the reef or the blokes who surf it. I heard a few tourists have been getting bashed their lately.

Port Reef and the Locals" - Yes Port Reef is a great Left, and on its day 6 -10 ft plus can Line up from 50-60 mts or so out from big Chalie and continue peeling off all the way to the pool, but if you blow the take off Charlie will swallow & skin you alive and chew you up. The barnacles on Charlie and the inside reef are razor sharp so for all you fucking TOUROS who blow in here and try to snake the Local Boys [Doc, Mad Mick, Duech, Chopper, the Face, Todd, Leo] ect enjoy your moment of glory out the Reef, because if you prick it out the Locals or Charlie will sort you out.
